University Scuba International The Premier Diver Education Facility in Texas. We provide industry leading scuba diving instruction for the beginner to the Instructor. This includes Recreational and Technical Diver Training of all levels. USI distinguishes itself as being the Training Organization of choice for all post secondary education Organizations, colleges and universities. At USI we do provide custom classes and smaller non-college level classes at regular intervals but with the benefit of getting trained by Instructors who teach at the College level using a curriculm designed for a University. USI is also actively developing a SCUBA Buisness Minor program at several universities so stay tuned.

Rebreather Seminar

Come join us on March 3rd or 4th for a full day experience hosted by Leon Scamahorn, CEO of InnerSpace Systems and inventor of the Megalodon and Pathfinder Rebreathers. The Seminar will be an all day event with Leon giving a talk in the morning on the Megalodon and Pathfinder Rebreathers and a pool dive on one of the units in the afternoon. Lunch will be provided. There are 35 slots on Saturday March 3rd and another 35 slots on Sunday March 4th. The cost for the seminar is $75.00 per seat. You will need your own suit and towel and may use your own mask in the pool. All other equipment will be provided.

We actively Promote both NAUI e-learning and SDI e-learning, so if you are interested in online courses that lead to certification USI is the organization to do it with.

At USI, as representatives of the diving community, we are concerened about the environment and the impact divers have on our lakes and oceans so we actively promote the NAUI Green Diver Program

We offer certifications through multiple Training Organizations including NAUI, TDI/SDI/ERDI, and others so if you are interested in a specific certification from a specific agency let USI know.

University SCUBA International runs 4 - 5 Trips a year to locations all over the world. Check our Trip Page out.

University Scuba International is the contractor to the University of Texas at Arlington and Texas Woman's University in Denton, TX and administers the Scuba Program at both universities. The University of Texas at Arlington students enrolled in Scuba EXSA 1249 or the EXSA 1259 may also use this page for information about their classes. Texas Woman's University students may also use this page for information about their classes.

University SCUBA International will also be offering Continueing Education (CE) classes at UTA, TWU, and TCCC SouthEast. If you are currently attending another college/university and would like to get credit for a SCUBA class through our organization let USI know and we will pursue that with your School.

University SCUBA International's Leadership program is second to none. We have developed a program that teaches how to teach, how to run a Dive operation, how to assist with teaching, how to handle emergencies and how to work in a Dive Training Organization. This leadership program includes an industry leading in-house internship as well as the possibility of participating in an International Internship at a Dive Resort in Fiji.
